Gallery 401 is seeking fine art depicting the heart of Richmond, Virginia. We are looking for paintings, prints, sketches, and sculptures that highlight recognizable sights of Richmond and reveal often overlooked communities. Ideally, the exhibit will showcase neighborhoods, businesses, landmarks, and persons of Richmond at a street level versus the abundance of art depicting Richmond’s skyline, capital, and monuments.

Loaned art must be received by June 13, 2018, and available for exhibit through August 18, 2018. Submitted work must be G-rated for display in a church environment with viewers of all ages. Submissions should be copies as Gallery 401 and West End Assembly of God will not be liable for the destruction to or loss of displayed art. Security cameras are present, however, the gallery space is not actively monitored and the gallery is located by exits, though they are almost always locked apart from Sunday mornings.
